The financier bought a smaller island - Little St James - originally in 1998, but later purchased the larger adjacent island in 2016 for around $22.5 million.
The released images reveal he had drawn up ambitious plans to transform the 161-acre island by erecting residences, an open-air theater, an submerged workspace and a pool.
Marked on the blueprint is a channel, a strait in the region, marked on the lower right-hand corner.
The architectural drawing is marked up in handwritten red notes and contains a key detailing distinct areas of the property.
Accompanying this are what seem to be several other site drawings and architectural plans, such as plans for boat shelters.
